Tracking trends with Google Labs

It looks like that everybody is digging into the new Google tool Labs. So, I did not want to be seen as a late adopter and have searched the words “responsible investments” just to find out how much the word is actually is being used.

Compared to the graph on Corporate Responsibility (CR) it would seem that companies have been responsible for a longer time than investors have cared to notice. Well the tool is fun and I have come up with a wide range of words to look for. Just notice what happens when you type in Gender equality… And I thought it was big in the 70ties but apparently we have entered a new era.

Remember that the tool only runs until 2000 so the latest decade is not included. You can find the tool here.
